This was my first attempt at making this particular quilt top details.

 

I have made Rail Fence tops, but not with the diamonds.

Apprx. 57 x 46 inches.

 

This particular type quilt top was a first for me.

 

The most time - consuming part, of course, was the border.

 

Doing the Quarter - Square - Triangles was a task.

 

Though I've done Quarter - Square - Triangles before; I had no idea if the size I'd created would

fit evenly around the border. Luckily, I only had to do minimal adjustments for a proper fit.

This is a beautiful NEW: Diamonds and Old Coins, Half Square Triangles, Quilt Top that I just made. 

Apprx.  59 1/2  x  49 1/2 inches

This quilt top is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. I just finished this one last night. Aug 1, 2017.

Quilt top is composed of many, time consuming, half square triangles, and many beautiful new fabrics.

 

 This one has the much loved, sashings and posts.
