A pecan tale
This is from the pecan tree in my front yard. The pecans began dropping in late July, seriously, and they are terrible. Not a good crop this year.
Not so good pecans
I haven't found one yet that was edible. I have noticed a few partially eaten ones that the squirrels dropped that seemed pretty good. I guess they're finding the best ones way up in the tree before they fall.

Fall Leaves
I found these wonderful fall colored leaves in my backyard.
I collected these delicious vegetables from my garden recently. They were so fresh and delicious. Everyone should try gardening at least twice. With the right technique, you'll love the results.
I love to design, craft and read; and is a divorced mom and YOUNG grandma. Did I mention that I am, also, mom to six lovely hen chicken!!! I hold a college degree; and is a former secretary.
Oh, that looks good! I haven't gardened successfully for 7 years and really miss the fresh veggies.
