So you wanna know what I feed the girls (chickens).


Only four of the girls are in this photo.


When the girls aren't out grazing for grass, sand and dirt, I feed them this fantastic corn, wheat, barley mixture.



My guess is that they much prefer grazing. They can hardly wait to get out in the yard everyday. I usually gather from two to five eggs daily. I think that they like laying fresh eggs for mommy.

    Yes, I do try and take good care of the girls. They absolutely fresh dugs worms more than ANYTHING. Needless to say, I do a lot of digging.

    Yep, Gemini, there's nothing like growing up in the country life. I'm so happy that I had that experience.
