These 6 hand appliqued blocks were made by me - using the needle-turn method.
If you don't like doing hand applique, I've done that job for you. I love doing hand-applique.
Each block is Apprx. 8 X 8 inches.
++The beginning of the green stem to the top of the pink flower is about 4 3/4 inches.

Hand Appliqued Chocolate Bars Hearts

I finally got these completed and listed in my Etsy.

I love doing needleturn applique.

 

These 12 hand appliqued blocks were made by me.

 

 

Each block is Apprx. 9 1/4 X 9 1/4 inches.

 

The hearts are about 4 1/4 inches at the widest points; and about 5 inches at the tallest points.

 

 

My fingers were itching to applique. 

It won't be long 'till hearts will flutter for each other, again.

Do you ever get that itch to apply one pretty fabric atop another?

I created the heart template {not shown here} from an old box.

The red background squares are 10 1/2 inches.

 

I h a n d - a p p l i q u e d  the hearts utilizing the needle-turn applique method.

I decided to get ahead of the 'season' and create a few fun blocks.

++ A quilt that I made for my grand-daughter. ++

  

She wanted random quarter moons spread across the quilt.

 

 

I drew a pattern, then cut and hand appliqued the moons.

(12 by almost 11 inches.)

 

I enjoyed the pleasure of  hand applique on each of these blocks.

 

No two hearts are positioned alike.

 

Love the beautiful red mottled hearts.

Today was ANOTHER great day for doing what I love most-CRAFTS.

Proof that is rained is shown on the leaves and branches in my yard.

Todays' raindrops/dollops on the leaf above.

Above is a strippy scrappy country themed tote that is in the works. I added some machine embroidery on some of the strips.

I actually knitted this purse today. (I hope to get it sewn up and embellished before the end of the year)

The above piece on the top will be a wristlet. I have wristlets for sale. Click on the photo to see some of them.  I love making yo-yo's. They are so simple, and can be done almost anywhere,anytime.

Four Needleturn Appliqued Cardinal Red birds

Following up on an earlier voting project click here, I have now finished the needleturn applique for four red birds. I made four totally new birds, and will use the original bird for some other project. I'm hoping to get this projec finished before the end of the year.(I'd better hurry)
