~  Bowl Cozy Heaven  ~

Click on the photo above to view/purchase this item and more like it, in my Handmade Diva Etsy shop.

I've created many Bowl Cozies; and I love sewing. These are made with 100% cotton fabrics, cotton batting and cotton threads.

++Great for holding popcorn, candy, nuts, a bowl of cold ice cream, a bowl of warm soup and more.
Machine washable and dryable.

These make GREAT Christmas gifts; and are practical for any time of the year.

I added the hanging tab for your convenience.

My fingers were itching to applique

It won't be long 'till hearts will flutter for each other, again.

Do you ever get that itch to apply one pretty fabric atop another?

I created the heart template {not shown here} from an old box.

The red background squares are 10 1/2 inches.

I h a n d - a p p l i q u e d  the hearts utilizing the needle-turn applique method.

I decided to get ahead of the 'season' and create a few fun blocks.

HUGE  Red  and White Ohio Stars
Pieced Patchwork  ~ Quilt Top Blocks

Apprx. 13 x 13 inches.

This type block is fairly, I said fairly, easy to make.  However, matching the seams can be challenging. I doubt that I've made this type block that ended with ALL seams matching.

Such a cute and traditional pattern.

Bear Paws and Nine Patch

Quilt Blocks

Turkey Red / Crimson and White.

Red and white with stars.

Making Bear's Paw blocks are not necessarily the easiest blocks to make; and are VERY time-consuming; however, I don't occasionally mind the challenge.

Making 9 / Nine-Patch blocks are almost one of my favorites.
Getting a 100% seam-match isn't always easy, but, I don't mind ripping, sometimes.  Thanks to whomever invented the seam ripper.
