Single Irish Chain Quilt Top

Red and White Stars. 

 This is for a NEW Irish Chain Quilt Top that I made.

The quilt top is apprx. 40 x 51 inches.

+++ Fabrics are new, good quality, pre-washed, pre-shrunk, 100% cottons.

 All items are made by me.  💟

Pieced Log Cabin Quilt Blocks

                                                    Each block is  9 x 9 inches.

 

                                    Stars Fern ~ Red White Green XMAS blocks.

 

                                                                      Fairly easy to make.

9 PATCH ~ Irish Chain PIECED Quilt Blocks

 

 

Apprx. 7 1/2 inches, each square.

 

 

Gorgeous holiday blocks.

 

These can, also, be used throughout the year, if desired.

 

Sew these together to create a quilt top, and then a quilt.

 

Pillows can, also, be made from these squares / blocks.

These blocks can be laid out in many different ways.

 

These are relatively easy to make. 

 

There is a method to the composing.

 

 Just remember which edge to attach the diagonal cuts.

Apprx. 10 x 9.50 inches, each.

 

 

 

It was another soothing task to hand - applique the hearts to the scrolls background.  

 

Each heart is positioned approximately the same.

 

Notice the hand - top-stitching as well.

 

I hand - embroidered, hearts within hearts.

 

The backs are fairly neat in appearance.

I love doing needle - turn applique.

 

I kept the backs fairly neat.

 

These blocks can be laid-out several different ways.

 

 You can add sashing and posts, and several borders, when putting them together to form a quilt top, or table runner, if desired.
