I gave it that title because the leaves are surrounded by alternate white squares, representing snow.

You can do bluework, redwork or other embroidery in the solid squares.  Make this a family heirloom. Use it throughout the year. Great for a wall, lap, crib, wheelchair  quilt.  This is the top only.  You add batting, backing and your  favorite quilting designs.

I always love making Irish Chain Quilt Tops.

This is the quilt top only, and has three borders.

 

The light fabric is off-white with a slight pale grayish look, and matches perfectly with the floral fabric. Floral rose fabric is called Rose and Hubble by David Textiles. (You'll love this antique look)
