I hadn't done a log cabin quilt top in a few, and decided to do this beautiful patriotic / crazy theme.

This is my first try at making this album - type block.

 

I decided to make my second try at this, in black and white fabrics.

I don't mind making this type block, since learning the "fast - half square triangles" method.

 

So unique.  No two blocks are alike, though some are cut from the same fabric.
