Pinwheels blocks are fairly easy to make.  I've made many of them.

Notice that the top two blocks have blue centers; and the bottom two blocks have white centers.

 

This is my ever attempt at making this type block.  Really easy.

No pattern was used to make these lovely blocks.

 

These blocks can be arranged in many different styles.

 

 

Each arrangement includes 16 blocks.

These lovely blocks can somewhat fulfill that scenario, they won't melt, not fattening, and are delicious to look at.
